Smarter source, sharper science. Consequence is an evolved fungal chitosan product designed to strengthen crops and defend against a wide spectrum of pathogens. Consequence is a 25(b) EPA-exempt biopesticide, effective against nematodes as well as fungal, bacterial, and viral pathogens.

The chitosan in Consequence is a naturally occurring biopolymer derived from fungal cell walls instead of allergenic shellfish sources. When applied to plants, Consequence functions both as a direct antimicrobial agent and as a biochemical signal that activates the plant’s own defense systems. Consequence also enhances root growth, nutrient uptake, and tolerance to environmental stress.

Environmentally safe, biodegradable, and compatible with integrated pest management programs, chitosan is a powerful biological alternative to synthetic pesticides.
